A day in our lives

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am going to give you a play-by-play of what our day is like.... This is going to be long so take a seat.

5:45 Hudson woke up! Waaaaay to early

6:30 Jonathan finally went in and got Hudson and brought him into our bed with milk for Hudson and coffee for us. We had a good 30 minutes of family snuggle.

7 - 7:15 Hudson played in our room while Jonathan showered and I got dressed, ripped the sheets off the bed and got all of the laundry downstairs.




7:15 We came downstairs for breakfast. Hudson had pancakes and peaches. While he was eating, I started on 8 loads of laundry, started the dishes and marinated chicken for dinner.




7:30 Jonathan left for work. Hudson and I headed to the neighborhood park. I love having a park so close.






8:15 We came home, cleaned up from the park and read some books.



8:40 Hudson was asleep. While he took his morning nap I had a lot to do..... fill up the baby pool, drink my 2nd cup of coffee (5:45 is early), water all the outside plants, work on laundry, dust downstairs, catch up on emails, did a little weight training video, reorganized and clean out toys, watched Project Runway and cleaned the kitchen.


10:20 Hudson woke up.

He played in our room while I put fresh sheets on our bed and dusted upstairs. He loves to go in our bathroom and open/close to door for peek-a-boo. We came downstairs after to do more laundry and play.





11:15 we ate lunch. Hudson had a grilled cheese, pickle and a few leftover fries. I had a salad.




11:45 We went onto the patio to play in the pool.



12:30 We came inside to shower.

1- We are both clean! Time to play and drink some milk.





2- Hudson goes down for his 2nd nap of the day. I took a little time to fold laundry and watch Real Housewives of DC.

The rest of our day will probably look like this....

4- Hudson will wake up and come downstairs for a snack and juice. We will play and finally put up all 8 loads of laundry.

Around 5 we will start dinner. Jonathan gets home between 5:30 and 5:45. We will eat dinner (asian sesame chicken wrapped in bacon and pineapple, green beans and sweet potato fries) and then Jonathan will go give Hudson a bath. I will clean up the kitchen, put away all the toys and take some milk upstairs for Hudson.

6:30 we all pile in our bed to watch The Fresh Beat Band and have milk.

7-7:30 We play and start getting Hudson ready for bed.

7:30 We read a few books, brush Hudson's teeth, say his prayers and put him in his crib.

Jonathan and I will then head downstairs and watch last nights episode of The Jersey Shore. Around 9, I will head upstairs to watch Say yes to the dress, Atlanta and fall asleep. My night owl husband will come to bed around 11 or 12.

That is how we spent our "at home" Friday! Have a great weekend!!!
