Jonathan took Friday off and we went to surprise Papa at his office (pictures in previous post). After coming home and taking a big nap, we headed off to the park. Hudson has a new love for sand. Much to my dislike. We end up bringing way too much home in our hair and shoes. We took some of the best pictures of Hudson EVER. I know it often seems like I post too many pictures of him, but I could honestly eat his little face off; he is so, so cute.
Saturday we took a 2 hour road trip to Ahoskie, NC so Hudson could meet (and surprise) his great grandmother for the very first time! They fell in love immediately!! It was so sweet to watch her as he played and ran around. His Grandpa David was there also..... with powdered doughnuts; yum! Hudson did great being in the car for 4 hours and looks forward to more visits.
This morning we woke up and darted off to watch Aunt Elizabeth run the City of Oaks half marathon. It was so chilly! We were lucky to be able to watch her from 2 different locations. She did awesome! We are so proud of her. Hudson made sure to clap for everyone.
We came home and all put on our pj's. Watching people run is exhausting. Ha. Tonight we are having homemade hibachi for dinner, my favorite!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.
