- Last night while Jonathan was getting Hudson out of the bath tub, Hudson made a run for the door. He slipped, fell face first on the tile and chipped a tiny piece of his front tooth. He cried for about 30 seconds and then told us he was fine. After holding him for what seemed like all night, calling the pediatrician and hearing that he was going to be fine (just take him to the dentist).... I had a big, fat "I told you so moment." I tell Jonathan all the time to get him straight in a towel and then get him dressed, do not let him run around wet. I Know it was no one's fault. It could happen anytime and anywhere. But I got really mad all of a sudden. I never want to see Hudson upset, scratched or bruised. He is my perfect baby and I want to keep him that way. He is still perfect with the tiniest chip in his little tooth.
- We have a playroom and I love it. I am so excited to have toys in only 1 room of the house. It will need new accessories and a sofa eventually but this is what it looks like now. There are 4 cabinets around the fireplace that hide toys and a window seat.
- Hudson has started bringing home art work and it gets the biggest smile out of him. He is so proud. He has a special board where we put it.
- I am digging the new show Revenge on ABC. How uncool am I that I just said "digging"
- I made a list the other day of all the things we "need" for the house. It was so long. Jonathan just looked, laughed and said "go get a job to pay for all that."
- I have gone almost 2 weeks without cooking thanks to our overly generous family and friends. Truly could not have imagined all of this happening without them.
- The trash truck and recycling trucks came yesterday and you would have thought it was Christmas. Hudson squealed and squealed.
- The weather has been so beautiful in the afternoons, we love spending our time outside and at parks. Playing outside makes for a much happier child... and mommy.
- I tried TJ Maxx out this morning. I always here people say they find the best stuff there. I walked around the women's department for about 5 minutes before I realized I would not take any of that stuff if they were giving it away. It must be a hit or miss place. I did find Hudson a few Polo's and some yard pants.
That must be all of my thoughts for now. Hudson has finally talked himself to sleep so I get to go enjoy watching last night's episode of Revenge!!!
