Elf on the Shelf

I was so excited when my sweet daddy bought Hudson the Elf on the Shelf. I thought for sure 3 1/2 was a great year to introduce this. Hudson has not used his listening ears lately so I thought this elf would work wonders.

Hudson found him when he got out of the bath tub last night.

We then went on to debate for 15 minutes why we could not name our Elf "Booger". That was fun. He finally decided he wanted to name him "Foofey." Clearly, naming something at that age is not a good idea.

When we woke up this morning the first thing he said was "Foofey flew away." But he had not. We found him coloring in the living room.

Hudson has been to timeout twice today for screaming/throwing things and both times he yelled, "Go tell Foofey to fly away."

Clearly, this is going to be a task!

  1. Foofey!!! Hudson is hilarious. Can we get him on the Ellen show to make you guys billions (and then you can give me some of that since it was my idea ) :-)

We had "buddy" last year (name's so original, right?) but I think Charlie will really love it this year.

I'll have to do the crayon/coloring book idea!!
