Things I learned in 5 days

I never like when Jonathan goes out of town for work, but I always learn things.

- Never watch a scary movie on a stormy night by yourself. I was awake all night long waiting for someone to come attack me.

- The gas tank does not have a fancy button to open it. I looked for it for almost 10 minutes, called Jon and asked a man on the other side of the gas tank how to open it. The response, "mam, I think you just pull it open" was like a dagger to my dumb heart. I guess that is what happens when you have someone else do that chore for you for over 4 years.

- Kids say the darnest things. A firetruck was at the grocery store Saturday and you know who had a hissy fit to sit in it. Thank goodness firemen are so nice. He asked Hudson what his firetruck says and Hudson responded with a LOUD, "Choo-choo, honk honk."

- I have a wonderful dad. He always makes sure I eat when Jonathan is gone!

- My sweet father in law always makes sure I have a newspaper to read.

- I have the best friends, family and neighbors. We had so many fun play dates, visitors and things to do. It makes time go by so much faster.

- Walmart really is hell on earth.

- I love my husband more everyday and am so thankful he is home safely!

- Hudson loves his sissy more than anything on the planet.

  1. Anna! I can't believe you watched a scary movie by yourself! I won't even watch one with someone else home I'm such a wimp! Hope you're able to sleep now. The gas tank thing totally cracked me up! I bet you made those guys day ;-)! Totally agree about wal mart. The pennies saved is really not worth the sanity lost!
