Fresh Beat Band

Last night we took Hudson to his first concert. The Fresh Beat Band

Hudson was so excited. He got into the chant before showtime

As soon as they started he turned into Mr. Serious.

He did not crack a smile for 2 hours. He sat in our laps and clapped and waved his arms but his face was stone cold. It was so funny.

There was an intermission after 45 minutes and he was not happy. He wanted his Fresh Beats back. As soon as they came back on, he climbed back in my lap and watched the rest of the show. When it was over he sobbed. SOBBED.

We loved it! They put on such a great show. They were very interactive, danced the entire time and sang all of their fun songs. At one point I had to check myself because I may have been into singing more than the 6 year old girl in front of us. Thank you so much to my dad and Lisa for giving us the tickets. We had a blast.

On the crutches front..... I have put them away. I can't do it anymore. I refused to take them last night because I knew there would be nowhere to put them and it would be such an inconvenience. I was in so much pain last night and this morning. Jonathan keeps saying "would you rather get surgery for a pin in your leg or would you rather listen to your doctor?" You honestly do not want my answer. Luckily I found some pain medicine from surgery I had 2 months ago so I can tolerate it. Today we are going to rest all day. Hopefully I will be OK for all the activities we have this weekend. I figure being on my leg for a little while and then resting and putting a heating pad on it may even it out?!?! We shall see...........

Happy Easter!
